You have no doubt  heard of the OWSLA crew comprised of Dillon Francis, Kill The Noise, Porter Robinson, Skrillex, Sub Focus and Zedd, the group of dance music producers who are taking the world by storm as of late. Skrillex has a grammy, Zedd’s “Spectrum” is arguably one of the most popular songs around, Porter Robinson is one of the fastest rising young producers in the world, and Dillon Francis is essentially the king of the Moombahton subgenre. Aside from their individual accomplishments, the producers are all good friends. They tour together, tweet one another constantly, and support each other in their production endeavors.

While this is all fun, games, and grammys, there is another young crew brewing in the Bay Area. They may not have an official title yet, but the likes of AndDrop!, gLAdiator, Gummy, Kaptain, JayFunk, and Fiasko Daniels are a rising force to be reckoned with. Wait… did he just compare some guys I’ve barely heard of as being on par with some of the biggest names in dance music?

Yes. Yes I did.
