I must admit, I haven’t been a huge fan of Usher since the days of “Yeah,” when I anxiously waited for the DJ to play his songs at school dances. The pop star is quickly integrating himself into dance music culture in order to remain relevant in an increasingly electronic pop music scene as EDM continues on its path towards the mainstream. This lends itself to a multitude of dance music producers remixing his tracks, which I personally think make his tunes for more enjoyable. J Styles, a young producer from Stockholm, Sweden, just released a remix of Usher’s “Scream,” which morphs the poppy tune into an electro banger that will work well with a mixed crowd of electro-heads and pop lovers alike.
